Award-winning Hospitality

Jake and Lauren attended the Exmouth Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2025 on Friday 26th September, as finalists in the category of Hospitality Business of the Year 2025. They were thrilled to be presented with the second prize in this category, with The Octagon winning first place and Curated Getaways receiving the award for third place. This is the first time that Stuart Line Cruises has won an award for Hospitality, making it a really poignant milestone in the history of the business.

This award was particularly meaningful to Jake, Lauren and the team, given that Stuart Line Cruises historically sits primarily within the Leisure and Tourism Category – to receive an award for our excellence in Hospitality is a sign of how much we have achieved over recent years. We have invested heavily into this area of our business and feel immensely proud that our boats have become well-known for their high-quality, fairly-priced bars on board. Furthermore, it is our greatest privilege to be able to showcase so much local produce – from small-batch cocktail makers ‘Bar Buoy’, to larger local breweries including Sandford Orchards and Exeter Brewery, artisan Devon ice-cream makers, Salcombe Dairy, Burts Crisps and so much more!

Not only does this award acknowledge the outstanding range of food and drink available on board our boats, it also recognises the superb customer service which our team provide. From our Skippers and Crew to our land-based administrative and events teams, everyone here at Stuart Line Cruises offers and incredibly warm and personable welcome and this is really what sets us apart from the rest, so this award is really for them and we are so grateful that they have got us here.
